Demon Woods Parallax Background
A downloadable asset pack
Atmospheric & ominous forest background consisting of 4 layers. There are only 5 colors in this scene, making it super easy to change the palette to your liking.
Includes individual PNGs for each layer, an example PNG & the PyxelEdit project file.
Made for 480x272 resolution, but smaller resolutions could still work since there's a lot of extra vertical room in the canopy area. Tree layers are 592x272 to better hide the parallax loop points. The furthest 2 tree layers can be combined on a single parallax layer if you prefer not to have 3.
Credit is obviously appreciated but not demanded.

Hi! I've used your background for one of the stages of my Bullet Hell Jam game: https://wingedfox.itch.io/perdition-sphere
A vertical bullet-hell shooter was probably not the intended use for it, but it was very easy to edit and ended up fitting the aesthetics perfectly! Made sure to credit you within the game and readme. Thank you so much for sharing ^^
Thanks for the credit. I appreciate that. I’m glad it worked out for your project! Haven’t checked the link yet but I’m curious how this bg would even work with vertical scrolling.
